(More customer reviews)I use this iron to curl my hair at least twice a week, sometimes more. It's still going strong after 10 years. In fact, I have a collection of ~15 irons that are all still going strong. No rusting, breaking, chipping...still in excellent condition, much like the day I bought them - and I haven't done a thing to maintain them. I've heard with other thermal/marcel irons, hair sticks to them over time. I've experienced this with my Gold'n hot plug in irons, but NEVER with my Kizure marcels. In fact, it seems like they get better with more use. The hair slides off of them smoothly, they distribute heat evenly, and give a perfectly silky curl every time.

Note for non-professionals: These irons do take some getting used to. I use them for my personal hair care. It didn't take me long to get good at it (maybe 2 hair styles?). But be sure you practice on LOW HEAT, otherwise, you may scorch your hair or skin as these irons will get VERY hot.
